Dr. Sharon Schrama - Veterinarian

Dr. Sharon Schrama is originally from Orillia, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Schrama moved to the Ghent neighborhood in Norfolk after living for 12 years on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Before that, she spent 17 years on the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent.

Dr. Schrama earned her veterinary degree at St. George's University in Grenada in 2006 and did part of her training at the University of Georgia. She is keenly interested in preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. She is excited to be a part of the Norfolk community and a member of Dog & Cat Hospital.

She lives with her husband, Garrett, and her German Shepherd, Isolde (aka Issy). In her free time, she enjoys creating and viewing visual art, attending musical concerts, spending time with friends and family, and being in the outdoors, especially water activities.
